I saw this tag on Du Livre and though I wasn’t tagged by anyone to complete it, I’m still doing it. Just like everyone else, I’m hesitantly excited about the upcoming Beauty and the Beast movie, and what better way to get in the mood to see it this weekend than a tag?
A Villain You Can’t Help But Love
I have to say Holland from A Darker Shade of Magic by VE Schwab. I’ve only read book one, so please no spoilers. I love him a lot and he’s definitely sitting firmly in the Enemy category in the first book. I hope we get to see more of him in the later two installments and that he ends up actually not being a villain – though if he is, I’ll still love him.
Sybella and Beast from the His Fair Assassin trilogy by Robin LaFevers will always be my go-to answers. Others include Taylor/Griggs, Rovinsky, Georgia/Dave the Laugh, and Raisa/Han.
A Character Destined for Greater Things
The easiest answer is Katniss Everdeen. I mean, she was just trying to survive in District 12, feed her family, and not get caught by the Peacekeepers. Instead, she started a revolution.
A Book That Makes You Hungry
Oh man, this is easy and obvious: The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh. The descriptions of food omgggg! I want to try everything mentioned in this book.
Soooo Ron and Hermione, anyone? I don’t know, maybe I wasn’t paying attention, but I was pretty shocked when they got together. They do have a lot in common, like bravery and all that, but they’re also sooo different, it’s jarring. I need to do a solid reread of the later books to see if I missed it. Also I dislike Ron a lot.
