Day five of the Bookish Bingo Read-a-Thon is done! How are you doing so far? I hope you’re kicking this read-a-thon’s ass and I hope you’re ready for your final mini-challenge! If you updated your progress at all (twitter, IG, Goodreads, etc) make sure to snag that entry in the Rafflecopter form at the bottom of the page! We’re going to be updating our progress every night for the duration of the read-a-thon, so be sure to check back in and see how we’re doing! If you have no idea what I’m talking about, or if you want to join in the fun, check out the signup post here. Now, let’s take another look at the card.
Pages Read Today: Cinder – 75 pages; Anna and the French Kiss – 30 pages
Bingo Squares Covered: Retelling, Set in more than one country
Day 5 Thoughts: I’m madly in love with Cinder, but I’m pretty sure my hardcore shipping of Cinder/Iko is going to be problematic. Anna on the other hand, just isn’t working for me. Maybe this wasn’t the right time to read it. Hoping to get a LOT more reading in tomorrow since I’ll be at the doctor’s.
Pages Read Today: Rebel of the Sands – 50 pages
Bingo Squares Covered: —
Day 5 Thoughts: I’ve been really sick with a stomach thing for the last day and a half, so reading was pretty much impossible, even though I am LOVING Rebel. I’m feel so much better after a day of lazing around, and I plan to finish at least two more books before the read-a-thon ends.
Today’s mini-challenge will probably be familiar to those of you who have participated in a read-a-thon before. We’re doing book spine poetry! There’s a small catch though: all the books used must fit on the bingo card! Oh and you can only use each square one time – no doubling up! Arrange your poem made from the titles of books, snap a photo, share it, and come back here to get yet another entry into our international giveaway! Here’s mine:
Metallic Lettering: The Killing Woods by Lucy Christopher
Second Chance: Soundless by Richelle Mead
Green Cover: The Unbound by Victoria Schwab
Standalone: The Creeping by Alex Sirowy
Another Challenge: Underneath Everything by Marcy Beller Paul
Characters are Not Human: The Wolf Wilder by Katherine Rundell
