Most Anticipated is a new feature here where I take a look at the new month’s upcoming releases and share the ones I’m most excited for. This list will not be an exhaustive list of what books are to come, just the ones I can’t wait to read! Good Me Bad Me by Ali Land. I know this is about a girl whose mother is a serial killer, and she may be a killer herself. And that’s all I need […]
This week was an extra hard week because I ended up getting some sort of virus that wiped me out all week. I was lucky enough to have finished even ONE book this week. I am hoping the final week is the best week yet. What I’ve Been Reading: Frostblood Pages Read: Frostblood 201 pages If you are participating in ARC August, how did the fourth week go for you?
Hi guys! Holy moly, I cannot believe we are at the end of August already. This entire year has just flown by. I am super stoked though because fall is almost here and that marks my favorite season of the year. I am hoping this fall is a little more enjoyable than last fall. Last fall we ended up moving and it was a crazy time in my life and I really don’t want this year to be like that. […]
I don’t believe I’ve rated a YA thriller 5-stars since Dangerous Boys came out August of 2014. So in three years I have not been as blown away by a twisting, turning plot with characters doing Terrible Things. If dark psychological contemporary is your thing, you need to add this to your list immediately because you are going to be blown away. Bad Girls With Perfect Faces is such a surprise, such an enjoyable read and features genuine, realistic characters […]

When I finished it in mid August, I said that this book was going to be my favorite book of the year and I’m hoping I can still say that now. This book blew me away in ways that I never dreamed it could. Caraval was my most anticipated 2017 release and I am so happy to say that it delivered in a big […]
September is upon us (yikes) and I don’t know about you, but this time of year always makes me nostalgic for Harry Potter. Since we’re all getting ready to board the Hogwarts Express and cozy up in our house common rooms, I thought I’d share a few recommendations based on the four Hogwarts Houses. So there will be two books to go to each house, along with which Harry Potter book I feel exemplifies each house the best. The Gryffindor […]
