stacking the shelves

Hi guys! Hope your week was awesome and filled with tons of books.

We finally have Mom on a medication to control her pain and she is doing so much better. We don’t have a diagnosis yet, and in fact have been referred to a new neurologist because her current neurologist is at a complete loss as to what’s going on.

Me, well I’ve had a rough few weeks. I don’t like self diagnosing myself, especially when it comes to mental health stuff, but I do think I’m depressed on top of my anxiety issues. Hoping I can get on some treatment for that soon.

On top of that, I came down with a cold on the Fourth of July. I thought for sure it was allergies, but I realized on the morning of the Fourth that it was definitely a cold. Still holding onto it today. It takes about 2 weeks for a cold to completely disappear for me.

  1. I’m sorry to hear that you aren’t having a good time, ATM. I hope that you pick up soon, and that the doctors can figure out how to help your mum. I cannot even imagine how stressful and scary that would be.

What a wonderful haul, though! I just got The Women in the Walls too, and I’m so excited to get my hands on copies of the rest of them too.

  2. I hope your mother’s new nuero can properly diagnose your mother and help her get care. I know how scary it can be to not have answers. My colds typically last for a couple of weeks before clearing up. I am now a firm believer in Mucinex! I have gone through time periods where I have felt very down and believed I could have been depressed. I seem to pick up by just talking to friends or doing something to make myself feel better. I hope you get on the up and up soon!
