January Book Haul

January Book Haul

Hi guys! Well overall January was a billion times better than November or December was. There was a bit of family drama at the beginning of January followed by me getting the flu, but all that seems to be over now. I did find out that my surgery won’t happen until mid February/early March, so boo on that. On the good side I got a ton of reading done this month. I read a bunch of really great books along […]

December Book Haul

December Book Haul

Holy moly, if I thought November was rough, it was nothing compared to the giant shit-storm December was. Okay, technically the shit started storming only two days after I posted the November book haul. I was at the lab getting some bloodwork done when I passed out. I came to quickly, but on the way home I basically died (heart stopped). My grandmother, brother and mother all had to do CPR on me. Our neighbor (who just happens to be […]

November Book Haul

Well November was not fun in the least bit. My brother ended up in the hospital with a severe asthma flare up. He ended up staying in the hospital for 6 days. I ended up in the ER twice during that time with a very high heart rate (it ranged 160-190) I am very lucky I didn’t end up being admitted to the hospital. My brother and I both ended up with Rhinovirus as well. As for Prentiss, she had […]

October-November Book Haul

October-November Book Haul

Hi everyone! It’s been a really long time since I’ve done a book haul or a life update. October and now the first half of November have been so crazy for me. Not necessarily busy, though there’s that too. But life has just been hard. Mike found out that the plant he works at will be closing this winter, so that was scary for a while; thankfully he found a new job pretty quickly, but it was still a downer […]

October Book Haul

Hi guys! I am so thankful that October was so much better than September was. We were still busy, but no where near as busy as we were last month. My brother had a doctor appointment with his Crohn’s doctor and she is very impressed with how well he’s doing. She will be upping his infusion dosage to help with the joint inflammation. He’s going through some other stuff that we’re trying to support him through, so if you’ve got […]

September Book Haul

September Book Haul

Hi guys! Well I woefully underestimated the craziness that September was going to bring us. From our car being stolen and the frantic search to find a new car to me being in the hospital for a few days. We’ve been busy people. As I am writing this, we have finally decided on a new (used) car. It had to have a big enough trunk for my wheelchair & it had to be easy enough for me to get into. […]
